Quinn signs Rezin-sponsored legislation on the EPA into law
PERU, Ill. — Legislation State Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) sponsored to help businesses follow federal Environmental Protection Agency air permit changes in an easier manner was signed into law by Governor Pat Quinn on Aug. 10.
The legislation states that when the USEPA makes a change to air permits, the Illinois EPA will automatically follow the change to federal regulation that was recently passed.
