Houston T. Weathersby Jr.
MINOOKA — Mr. Houston T. Weathersby Jr., 81, of Minooka, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, after a 10-month struggle resulting from an accident at home.
Born Feb. 13, 1931 in Mansfield, La., Houston was the son of the late Houston and Cleo (Bumpus) Weathersby Sr.
Houston was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War as a dental technician. While stationed in California, he met his wife of 57 years, Edna, who was also serving in the Navy.
