Feasibility study just makes sense

The fact the four school districts in Morris have been working together in an effort to save money and streamline operations is nothing short of commendable. They are now cooperating on transportation, food service, purchasing and a wide variety of other day-to-day measures necessary for the education of the children of this community.

With all of the efforts in place to work cooperatively, it seems to us at the Morris Daily Herald that looking into the possibilities and practicalities of consolidating the four districts into one is simply the next logical step in the process.

What is your stance on a proposed 1 percent sales tax to fund local school building projects?

I'm in favor of anything that will help improve school finances
I will support it if it helps to lower my property taxes
I oppose it because I don't believe it will impact property taxes and I will just pay twice
I'm against any additional taxes
I have not heard enough yet to form an opinion
