Rose K. Mottl
RIVERSIDE, Ill. — Mrs. Rose K. Mottl, 92, of Riverside, Ill., died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012.
Born Nov. 8, 1919, Rose was vice president of Atlas Tool & Die Works, Inc. in Lyons, Ill. She was the first woman on the board of the Tool & Die Institute, now known as TMA.
In recognition for her many years of service at the TMA, an award is given to a woman annually in her honor, the Rose Mottl Award for Leadership in Manufacturing.
