For Bears, Giants game poses a big test

(MCT) — The Bears can put together a solid showing against the defending Super Bowl champions Friday night at MetLife Stadium or return to Halas Hall for one more week of preseason with enough pressing football issues to dwarf, for the time being, the focus on Brian Urlacher’s left knee.

All eyes will be on the protection for quarterback Jay Cutler against a talented but shorthanded group of pass rushers for the Giants (1-1), who will be without right defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul as he rests his back.
