Michelle Obama rallies supporters in Wisconsin, meets with temple victims

MILWAUKEE (MCT) — With the presidential race tightening in Wisconsin, first lady Michelle Obama told Democratic supporters Thursday that her husband understands their problems because he’s faced them himself.

Recounting President Barack Obama’s childhood as the son of a single mother, the first lady told a cheering crowd at Milwaukee’s Bradley Tech High School, “Your president knows what it means when a family struggles … Barack knows the American dream because he’s lived it.”
