Summer has flown by leaving only two more point nights left at the Grundy County Speedway, both of them will be over the Labor Day Weekend. The weekly classes of Late Model, Mid American Sportsman, Street Stock and Pure Stocks will be in action both nights.

In racing action this past Friday night it was Eddie Hoffman, Billy Knippenberg, Logan Love and Dan Schmeissing putting their cars in victory lane.

In the Late Model race, Hoffman passed P.J. Polcyn with seven laps to go in the main event to pick up the win. Polcyn, who won the trophy dash earlier in the evening, held on to second. Jim Kachel and D.J. Weltmeyer won heat races while Hoffman set fast time.
