CHICAGO (MCT) — When Cierre Wood first appeared in August, there appeared to be a problem, with a “paperwork” issue sidelining Notre Dame’s starting tailback for the start of practice. Then came the unexplained preseason-long silence of a voluble, outsize personality.
And then came the disciplinary punch that spoke volumes about all that on Sunday.
