Grundy mosquitoes test positive for WNV

Infected batches are first found to have disease since 2007

Three batches of mosquitoes recently collected in the city of Morris have tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the Grundy County Health Department.

These pools of mosquitoes constitute only the second occurrence of West Nile Virus infected mosquitoes ever detected in Grundy County.
