Isaac will weaken slowly after second landfall
BILOXI, Miss. (MCT) — Isaac will start to weaken after making landfall twice, but the National Hurricane Center says the hurricane won’t weaken as quickly as anticipated, in part, because of the swampy terrain it will cover as it slowly moves further inland.
For the Mississippi Coast and areas near Isaac’s wobbling path, that means another day of heavy rain, wind, flooding and possible tornadoes.
