Becoming the park envisioned

Rotary continuing to improve reserve

It's been a number of years in the making, but the vision of Rotary Park in downtown Morris is coming to fruition.

In recent weeks, the park has had three decorative lights installed, and just a couple of months ago, a new gazebo was added near the entrance to the park off Liberty Street, south of the railroad tracks. Since the gazebo's installation, a wedding has even been seen happening there.

"The cool part is I see a lot of people sitting in it. At the last Cruise Night, it was packed, they we're having a party in there," said Morris Rotary Club President John Carr.
