Fueling young athletes with healthy snacks

Good nutrition is important for everyone, but is especially important for athletes. If you don’t put good fuel in, your body is not going to perform as well as it could. 

Our schedules are often hectic with multiple activities. Getting our kids here and there is hard enough, let alone making sure they get something healthy to eat in between.

For those of you with kids in sports, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's College of ACES has a great article about planning and preparing healthy, quick snacks.
