‘It’s a win-win’

Norton Cup scores $7,770 for OSN

The second annual Norton Cup was held on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris with a full field of 72 golfers participating in the two-man golf tournament. The event raised a total of $7,700 for Operation St. Nick.

“Last year we had 66 golfers that totally enjoyed the format of the two-man team event of six holes played as a scramble, six holes of low ball and six holes of alternate shot so much they told us not to change a thing for next year’s event,” said Kurt Nolan, golf pro at Nettle Creek Country Club said. “We love this format. So we did just that, and we’re pleased to have a full field of 36 teams this year.”
