USF to hold auditions for ‘Pride and Prejudice’

JOLIET, Ill. — University of St. Francis announces auditions for its Nov. 1-3 production of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” Auditions will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 6 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Sue Manner Turk Theater. All students, employees, and members of the local community are invited to attend.

Those auditioning should come with a one-minute monologue and be prepared for cold readings from the script. Parking will be available near the university’s Moser Performing Arts Center entrance, located at the corner of Wilcox and Taylor Streets, Joliet, Ill.
