Cumbie reportedly makes Raiders' 53-man roster
The San Francisco Chronicle’s Vic Tafur tweeted Friday night that Morris Community High School graduate Jamie Cumbie has made the Oakland Raiders’ 53-man roster.
A defensive tackle, Cumbie was originally signed by the Raiders as a non-drafted free agent on July 31, 2011. He was waived on Sept. 3, 2011 but was re-signed to Oakland’s practice squad two days later. The organization then re-signed him as a reserve/future free agent on Jan. 3, 2012. Cumbie played collegiately at Clemson University.
