Deputy fired after accident in which squad car hit man
DECATUR (MCT) — The Macon County sheriff’s deputy who is accused of reckless driving after hitting a Decatur man with his squad car in June has been fired.
Macon County Sheriff Thomas Schneider said Thursday that deputy Brian Duff’s employment with the Macon County Sheriff’s Office was officially terminated Wednesday. Duff had been on unpaid suspension since July.
