Illinois 47 in Mazon to be closed for week
BNSF repairing railroad tracks in village
OTTAWA, Ill. — Illinois 47 in Mazon will be closed for up to a week at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway grade crossing.
The closure, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Thursday, will begin on Saturday, Sept. 8, and continue for up to seven days. The closure is necessary to allow the BNSF Railway Company to repair its crossing.
