Morris football hangs on to beat Richards

With the game on the line in what turned out to be a 15-13 win by Morris over Richards on Friday night, the Redskins defense rose to the occassion once again. Three times the locals picked off Bulldogs quarterback Tommy Mister, including Brad Rickard inside the final 10 seconds at the goal line to seal the win.

"The defense is outstanding, I can say enough about the defense," Morris coach Alan Thorson said. "Richards has a good team and against athletes like that, you are going to give up some big plays, but the kids fought their hearts out tonight."

Rickard, Michael McNelis and Josh Lincoln had the interceptions for Morris against Mister.
