Mr. George H. Small, 94, of Morris, passed away at his home and went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 30, 2012.

Born Feb. 22, 1918, in LeRoy, Ill., George was the youngest son of Dr. George H. and Minnie V. Warnock Small. He received his education in Bloomington, attending Jefferson Grade School and Bloomington High School. He enrolled at Illinois State University, where he majored in Smith-Hughes Agriculture.

George married the love of his life B. Ertrel Thompson of Bloomington, Ill., on Sept. 16, 1939, in Moberly, Mo. They moved to Gibson City, Ill., where he started farming.
