Morris readies for the Green Machine

Geneseo's football team has been true to form this year, as you may already have imagined. The Maple Leafs have started the year with a 2-0 record and have outscored its opponents 92-27 in the first couple of games.

Just as predictable, Geneseo has 13 touchdowns this year and they have all come on the ground. No. 26 Rayce Singbush leads the team with five scores with the longest being from 93 yards away. Both Nate Johnson and Ryan Webster have two touchdowns each with Mitchell Miller and quarterback Luke Snyder getting the other two scores.

"I think in the two games we have them down for 10-12 passes in the two games. But it's the same Geneseo you see every year," Morris coach Alan Thorson said. "They run the Wing-T and double wing sets. They are going to keep it traditional like that. It's going to be a completely different game for our defense compared to what we had last week."
