JOLIET, Ill. (MCT) — Prosecutors presented the high-profile Drew Peterson murder case as a puzzle of circumstantial and hearsay evidence for jurors to solve with their common sense.

A defense attorney called the mysterious death at the center an accident and the case itself as “riddled with doubt like a piece of Swiss cheese.”
