Driver shot dead on Dan Ryan, SUV crashes on side street
(MCT) — A driver was shot and killed on the Dan Ryan Expressway, sending his SUV crashing into parked cars and a store on a side street, authorities said this morning.
Larry Porter, 25, was driving a black 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on the expressway at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when he was apparently shot by another motorist, according to Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Steven Tufenkjian, citing early reports.
