Man arrested after quest for ‘cigarettes and booze’

James D. Synowiecki, 28, of Gardner, was arrested by Grundy County deputies after he allegedly broke down his girlfriend’s apartment door for “cigarettes and booze.”

According to the sheriff’s department report, at about 8:35 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, deputies were dispatched to the apartment at 415 W. Jefferson Street in Gardner, where his girlfriend said he busted her door down while she was sleeping “to get more booze and cigarettes.”
