Motorcyclist charged with DUI, reckless driving in Carbon Hill

Grundy County deputies arrested a Carbon Hill man early Aug. 31 on charges of driving under the influence and recklessly driving his motorcycle through Carbon Hill.

At about 4:15 a.m., according to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department report, deputies arrested Michael A. Cerny II, 21, of Carbon Hill after they observed him to be driving at a speed over 70 miles per hour on a 20-mile per hour road on a Yamaha FZ1, as well as breaking other traffic laws, including running four stop signs.
