Motorist cited for running into vehicle at gas station

A Morris man was cited after he allegedly struck another vehicle at a Morris gas station and left without informing the vehicle’s owner on Friday.

According to a Morris Police Department report, Steven A. Becker, 62, of 1700 Newton Dr., who was driving a 1997 Mazda Protege in the parking lot of BP at 1516 N. Division St., attempted to go around other vehicles at the gas station and struck a parked, unoccupied 2003 Chevy Venture.
