Clyde F. Mason
Mr. Clyde F. Mason, 87, of rural Morris, passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2012, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Born July 1, 1925, in Calumet, Okla., Clyde was the son of Clyde F. and Rosa (Ridenour) Mason.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, enlisting on Oct. 12, 1943 until receiving his honorable discharge on Nov. 30, 1945. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater of Operations, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal.
