Fall favorites will emerge at French Market

Shuttle bus will run between market, fairgrounds where Jalopy Fest taking place

A fall favorite, the 3 French Hens French Country Market will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, along the I & M Canal on W. Washington St. in downtown Morris. This market will be held during the regular daytime hours, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Once again there will be over 100 vendors offering everything from produce, pumpkins, pies and baked goods to handcrafted and one-of-a-kind jewelry, garden art, home decor, antiques and repurposed goods. Many will be debuting their fall wares, and some will be previewing Christmas and holiday items.

The 3 French Hens are excited the ever-popular scarecrows, witches and snowfolks by Illinois folk artist Kathy Pribble will be returning to the market for the September, October, and holiday shows. These life-sized, whimsical figures often feature antique toys, tricycles, or sleds and are each lovingly crafted by Pribble and partner, Patti, in their business "Summer Kitchen."
