Cubs top Astros in battle of bottom feeders
HOUSTON (MCT) — While the White Sox and Tigers engaged in a pennant race Monday on Chicago’s South Side, the Cubs and Astros squared off in a series between baseball’s bottom feeders.
Both teams were staring at a 100-loss season, and starters Chris Volstad and Dallas Keuchel combined for a 3-17 record entering the game.
