Man arrested for striking man and taking his wallet
Grundy County deputies arrested Jeremy S. Barrows, 26, of Carpentersville, Ill. on battery and theft charges after he allegedly struck another man in the face in an altercation and took his wallet, which contained more than $200 in cash, in the 700 block of W. Dupont Road early Tuesday.
At about 12:30 a.m., Barrows was arrested on counts of battery and theft. His bond was set at $150.
