Rizzo survives scare in Cubs’ loss to Astros
HOUSTON (MCT) — In an otherwise dreary season on the North Side, the play of rookie Anthony Rizzo has given Cubs fans a glimmer of hope for the future.
So when Rizzo was flipped into the air Tuesday night during a base-running collision with first baseman Brett Wallace in a 1-0 loss to the Astros, landing hard on the ground and injuring his right shoulder, there was reason to fear the worst.
