White Sox’ Liriano might get start vs. Twins after all
CHICAGO (MCT) — Francisco Liriano isn’t scheduled to start through this weekend’s series at Minnesota, and it could be a while before the embattled left-hander returns to the White Sox rotation if Hector Santiago improves and Jose Quintana continues his rebound.
Liriano, however, received a potential break when the Sox used Santiago in relief in the fifth inning Wednesday night. Liriano could take Santiago’s start Friday night.
