JJC's master plan continuing to come together

College will dedicate natural sciences expansion with event Sept. 25

JOLIET, Ill. — The community is invited to attend the grand opening for the Joliet Junior College Natural Sciences building expansion on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

The event on the college's Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet, will begin at 4 p.m. with an opening ceremony and guest speakers, followed by a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with refreshments. Guided tours and demonstrations will be available starting at 4:30 p.m.

One of seven major construction projects in the college’s master plan, the expansion and remodeling of the natural sciences program allows the college to offer more classes in some of its highest-demand areas such as biology, chemistry and physics with state-of-the-art learning resources.
