A New Challenge
USF officially opens center to community
JOLIET, Ill. – The University of St. Francis (USF) Challenge Center was officially recognized by USF and Joliet community leaders with a grand opening ceremony Sept. 10. at the outdoor low ropes course near the USF campus.
Syd Sklar, chairman of USF’s Recreation, Sport and Tourism Management Department and manager of the Challenge Center, explained that the center’s programs have been designed to emphasize skills, strategies and behaviors necessary for effective leadership within an organization.
