Rehabilitating Reese

On the first play of the second half during Morris home football game against Geneseo, Morris running back Reese Sobol finally broke free. Earlier he had enjoyed his longest run of the season on a 16-yard touchdown in the first half, but this one went for 64 yards and another score.

That first play of the second half against the Maple Leafs is likely the biggest offensive play for Sobol as a varsity play heading into the game against Dixon. However, it's probably not the most memorable play from scrimmage in a varsity uniform for the senior.

Last year on his very first play from scrimmage, Sobol suffered a shoulder injury — something that sent his promising junior year into a downward spiral, from which he never really recovered.

What is your stance on a proposed 1 percent sales tax to fund local school building projects?

I'm in favor of anything that will help improve school finances
I will support it if it helps to lower my property taxes
I oppose it because I don't believe it will impact property taxes and I will just pay twice
I'm against any additional taxes
I have not heard enough yet to form an opinion
