Dr. Heather Wakefield has opened a general surgery practice in Morris and Channahon.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Wakefield specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of hernias, bowel disease and disorders, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, hemorrhoids, skin lesions, and trauma injuries. She has a special interest in comprehensive breast care, including the evaluation of breast complaints and newly diagnosed breast cancer, in addition to breast biopsy and breast surgery.
