The city of Morris is in the process of annexing into the city limits four acres that will be the new location of Premier Academy.

The land is owned by Funk Helland Land LLC. On Tuesday, the city's Water and Sewer Committee and the Parks and Annexation Committee, in a joint meeting, unanimously approved the annexation agreeement. The approval is pending the Planning Commission's approval of the zoning change to Business-4 from Business-3.

The annexation agreement and ordinance will then go before the full council Oct. 1.
