911 OKs adding Braidwood cops to dispatching

Department has not yet accepted

The Grundy County Emergency Telephone System (911) Board approved it's executive committee's recommendation to provide dispatching service for Braidwood police for $80,000 a year.

"They were very pleased and satisfied with the number from the executive committee," said Chairman Terry Marketti.

Braidwood is being offered to join for $80,000 a year. In addition, Braidwood would pay a one-time $15,000 impact fee. This would only be good for the two years remaining on the dispatch contract between all of the county's departments and municipalities.
