Reed pleased with way manager handling closer duties
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (MCT) — Addison Reed said his right arm feels better now than it did at this point last year when he spent his first full professional season as a reliever.
And Reed doesn’t mind that manager Robin Ventura has opted to rely more on favorable matchups rather than automatically employ him for the start of the ninth inning in save situations.
