Morris incumbents taking out petitions
In the three weeks petitions have been available for city of Morris positions up in the primary election in Feburary 2013, two of the four wards still have not had petitions picked up.
Each of Morris' four wards has two aldermen representing it, and in each ward, one position is up for election, said City Clerk John Enger. In the First Ward, Alderman Don Hansen, Republican, is up for re-election and has yet to pick up a petition.
In the Second Ward, Alderman Ken Sereno, Republican, is up and has picked up a petition to circulate. In the Third Ward, Alderman Drew Muffler, Republican, is up for election, but has not yet taken a petition. In the Fourth Ward, Alderman Bill Martin, Republican, has picked up a petition for re-election.
