Promotion for White Sox’ Williams no stretch
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (MCT) — For the past five years, general manager Ken Williams has delegated more authority to reliable assistant Rick Hahn, and now it appears both will move up in the White Sox hierarchy.
Williams declined to comment directly on a report in Thursday’s editions of USA Today that stated that Williams, the Sox GM since October 2000, would become team president. Hahn, according to the report, would take over as GM.
