Best wedding purchase ever.

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

For our favors at our second wedding reception we hired a separate photographer to do a photo corner.

Each guest was given a frame with a funny photo of my husband and I that told them to take a fun photo to take home with them to remember the day.

I really wanted to rent a photo booth that prints the strip of photos, but despite my research, I couldn't find one that would fit our budget.

But then my photographer recommended her friend Phebe of P3 Photography who does "photo corners" and for a much more reasonable price.

We debated on doing this for quite some time. I was concerned that it would get too busy and guests would end up waiting in line, that it would take away from dancing or that it wouldn't get utilized enough.

Best wedding purchase we made.

Not only did guests get a fun memento to take home, but we got a copy of every picture as well and got to see all the fun our guests had.

It also added something different for people to do besides eat and dance. I love to dance, don't get me wrong, but as I've learned through my two wedding receptions -- it's not everyone's thing. So for the non-dancers this provided them something to do rather than just sit at their table and watch.

Our guests were able to take funny pictures wearing masks, boas and oversized hats. Or they could take a nice photo with their significant other while they were dressed in their best.

Although every bride would like to think their wedding was the best anyone ever attended, I do think the photo corner made for some long last memories.
