Guidance counselor fired over book sues for $1 million

CHICAGO (MCT) — A guidance counselor and former girls basketball coach who was fired from Rich Central High School after writing a graphic book about relationships has filed a federal lawsuit seeking $1 million, contending his free speech rights were violated.

The Rich Township High School District 227 board cited the book, “It’s Her Fault,” when it unanimously voted to fire Bryan Craig on Sept. 18. In the book, Craig tells women to “go ahead and let him turn you every which way” and “give him oral sex without making the ‘ugh’ face.”
