Man convicted of woman's death sentenced to 23 years for robbery
OTTAWA — An Ottawa man convicted 14 years ago in the dragging death of a Minonk woman has been sentenced in the purse snatching of two women.
Christopher Coleman, 39, was sentenced to 23 years in prison for the November robbery of two LaSalle women. He previously served nine years for aggravated reckless homicide and theft in connection with the dragging death of Patricia Stansfield, 46, who became entangled in a seatbelt while exiting his stolen car.
