Some Bears’ fans sympathize with archrival Packers’ plight on call
CHICAGO (MCT) — Chicago Bears fans are genetically predisposed to rejoicing whenever the Green Bay Packers lose a football game. It comes with the rivalry and, presumably, a deep-seated hatred of cheese-shaped hats.
But when a referee’s blown call gave the Seattle Seahawks a win over the Packers in the Monday night game, some Bears fans experienced an odd feeling: sympathy for Green Bay.
