Willa Mae Roy
COAL CITY — Mrs. Willa Mae Roy, 75, of Coal City, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Morris Hospital.
Born Sept. 23, 1936 in Beardstown, Ill., Willa Mae was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor Perry-Caldwell. She was raised and educated in Wilmington, attended Wilmington High School and graduated from St. Francis Academy in Joliet.
On Jan. 30, 1960, Willa married James Roy in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where the ceremony was officiated by Fr. Ted Berst.
