(MCT) — Two men whose bodies were found in the trunk of a parked vehicle Friday on the Southwest Side died from blunt head trauma in assaults, the Cook County medical examiner's office found following autopsies today.

The deaths of the two men, who remained unidentified this afternoon, were ruled homicides by the medical  examiner’s office. Police were called to the 2400 block of West 45th Street in the Brighton Park neighborhood about 10:10 a.m. when a woman found her boyfriend's car parked there, according to police.
