Corbett's been a good bet
MINOOKA — Corbett Oughton wasn't sure if he wanted to play football coming into this season. The senior hadn't played the sport in two years, as he focused more on his wrestling career. So far it's a good thing for the Indians he decided to change his mind.
The defensive back decided to come out for his senior campaign, and he's returned with a fury. In the past three games, Oughton has had five interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns. His contributions have led Minooka back on the right direction, winning their last two ball games.
"I came into the year figuring I'd get a couple interceptions, but I never thought I'd get five in two games," Oughton said. "It's raised the game up to another excitement level."
