Deputies use beanbags to subdue man who pointed gun at them

(MCT) — McHenry County sheriff's deputies fired shots at a man who pointed a gun at them as they served a warrant near Marengo today, but the man was not hit by the gunfire and was arrested after a short barricade situation.

At 12:18 p.m. members of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division went to the 2900 block of Northwest Road in unincorporated Marengo Township to serve a domestic battery warrant on Edward P. Bolen, according to a release from Sheriff Keith Nygren's office.
