IDOT sets October meetings to discuss future plans

(MCT) —The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold a series of public meetings in the Chicago area over the first two weeks of October to discuss the agency's future state transportation plans.

The informal meetings, which will include the opportunity to speak with IDOT representatives and look at exhibits featuring the agency's plans, are 3-6 p.m. on these dates:

• Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 E. Main Street in St. Charles for Kane and DuPage counties

• Wednesday at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn, 800 S. Route 31 in Crystal Lake for Lake and McHenry counties

• Tuesday, Oct. 9 at IDOT District 1 headquarters, 201 West Center Ct., in Schaumburg for northern Cook County

• Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Rd., Romeoville, for Will and southern Cook counties
