One arrested, officer hurt in accident following Montgomery shooting incident

(MCT) — One man has been arrested and another person is being sought after a police officer responding to a shooting incident at a west suburban party was seriously injured in a car accident involving someone fleeing the party.

Kendall J. Collier, of the 100 block of Linden Drive in Oswego, was driving the 1998 white Chevy Malibu that hit the police squad car about 12:15 a.m. this morning in the 700 block of Oakton Avenue in Montgomery, according to Montgomery Chief of Police Daniel Meyers.
